Aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask and answer questions about someone’s phone number. Students practice reading, speaking. B. RESOURCES: Students’ book, TV, laptop, board. C. PROCEDURES I.Warm – up and review: Play game: Bingo Teacher asks some students. Example: T: What’s your phone number? S1: 0393 835 129 II. Practice: 1. Listen and tick: Ask students to look at the pictures at page 53 Ask students to identify the phone number in the pictures. Have Ss in groups guess. Play the recording through for students to listen. Play the recording again for the students to listen and tick the correct answers. Play the recording once more for students to check their answers. Sharing and comparing. Teacher checks and corrects. 2. Look and write. Set the scence: How many pictures are there? Ask students to identify the phone numbers in each picture. Students write on the notebooks individually.
