Aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to read and understand the content of the text. Develop: Speaking, reading and listening and writing skills. B. RESOURCES: Students’ book, TV, laptop, board. C. PROCEDURES: I. Warm - up: Ask students read the chant. II. Practice: 1. Read and tick: -Tell pupils that they are going to read the text and focus on the information to tick true or false. If necessary, get pupils to work in pairs or groups. Check understanding. - Give pupils time to do the task. Go around to offer help, if necessary. - Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class. - If there is enough time, let some pairs ask and answer the questions Ask students to answer these questions: 2. Let’s write - Have them work in pairs or groups to discuss what they are going to write. Check comprehension and give feedback. - Give pupils time to do the task. Go around to offer help, if necessary - Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class. - If there is time, ask one pupil to write the answers on the board. III. Aims: By the end the lesson, students will be able to ask and answer questions about zoo animals using: What animal do you want to see? I want to see .. Students remember the words: tiger, zebra, elephant, monkey, crocodile, a lion, kangaroo. Students practice reading, speaking, listening. B. RESOURCES: Students’ book, TV, laptop, board. C. PROCEDURES: I.Warm – up: Shark attack ------ animal II. Pre – teacher vocabulary: kangaroo con chuột túi crocodile con cá sấu elephant co voi tiger con hổ Students read after teacher. Read in groups. PROCEDURES: I.Warm – up and review: Teacher asks some students. (pictures) Example S1: What animal do you want to see? S2: I want to see monkeys II. Practice: 1. Listen and tick: Ask students to look at the pictures at page 41 Ask students to identify the phone number in the pictures. Have Ss in groups guess. Play the recording through for students to listen. Play the recording again for the students to listen and tick the correct answers. Play the recording once more for students to check their answers. Sharing and comparing. Teacher checks and corrects. 2. Look and write. Set the scence: How many pictures are there? Ask students to identify the phone numbers in each picture. Students write on the notebooks individually. Check comprehension. - Play the recording. - Divide the class into two groups: one sings the questions and the other sings the answers. Teacher sings model. Students sings after teacher. Students listen to the cassette. Students sings after cassette. Sing in groups. Ask students sing individually. VI.
