Period 57: Lesson 2 Teaching method and techniques: • Task-Based Language Teaching • Games: Slap the board, Lucky numbers. Objectives: After the lesson, students are able to: • Recognize and pronounce the letters sk and its sound correctly. • Understand, recognize and say four words: skiing, skating, skirt and sky. • Write the letters sk. Resources and Materials: Flashcards, laptop, speaker. Time Content Teacher’s activities and Ss’ activities 5’ I. Warm-up: - Greeting - T and Ss greet together. - Sing a song: One little finger - Open the song and asks Ss to sing along. - Game: Slap the board. - Divide class into 2 or 3 teams. - Show the rule of the game. - Ask Ss to play the game. - Give feedback and points. 30’ II. Presentation: 1. Point and say. - skiing - Ask Ss to look at the - skating pictures, point and say what - skirt they are. - sky - Ss work in pairs. - Call some pairs to practice in front of the class. - Give feedback.
